"Looking for a true Southern meal as we cruised through Georgia on Friday (9/5/25), we stumbled upon Judy's and wow, are we glad we did! The food was absolutely outstanding and the people (both staff and fellow diners) made it feel like more than just lunch... it was an experience! From the moment we walked in, a customer leaving held the door for us and cheerfully said, "Get on in there and get some lunch!" That set the tone. On the way out, three kind gentlemen insisted I cut in front of them so I could snag a peach cobbler to-go. We waddled out with full bellies, happy hearts, and a story to bring back home. I can't say enough about how warm and welcoming everyone was and how flavorful every bite tasted! Special note...I'm not usually a sweet tea fan... but real Georgia sweet tea...Consider me a fan! Portions were generous, prices were more than fair, and flavor was off the charts. If you're looking for the real taste of the South...this is it."

"In town for work. Coworker and I passed this joint earlier in the day and decided to try it. The interior is no frills, not much in decor. There's a buffet once you enter. The staff is very efficient and quick to help you to decide. I had their dark meat chicken combo with a side of pinto beans and stewed tomatoe/okra. They ran out of dark meat so I got a leg and two wings. They also gave me two cornbreads. My coworker got their white fish combo. The chicken was seasoned well, but was a bit on the greasy side. The beans and stewed tomatoe/okra were tasty but lacked salt. Overall we had a decent meal."

"BREAKFAST: My review is based on over 10 yrs ago when I first moved to the south! I'm so happy to see they're still filling satisfied bellies This is definitely where the locals eat so if you're in town DO NOT miss this place. Southern home cooking like you've heard. The south has some of the most beautiful people and they are here. Try it and understand what I mean. Keep it up, Judy's "

"It used to be a small, hole in the wall, close knit atmosphere/environment. They have expanded to a larger building. Food is still good, but the charm seems to be missing as the familiar servers and order takers are gone."
